Gender Equality Plan (GEP)
Version 1.1 – 2026
Public Document
1. Commitment
Green Tree Group Ltd (GTG) and its associated businesses, including Hydro Road Ltd, Mine Fines Agglomeration Ltd, and MILHA Ltd are committed to maintaining an inclusive and respectful working environment where all individuals are treated fairly and have equal opportunities to contribute and develop.
As a small and growing organisation operating across engineering, infrastructure, and innovation projects, we recognise that diverse perspectives strengthen both technical outcomes and organisational culture.
We support gender equality in recruitment, career development, leadership opportunities, and day-to-day working practices.
This statement serves as our Gender Equality Plan (GEP) in line with Horizon Europe requirements and will be reviewed periodically as the organisation grows.
2. Responsibility
Overall responsibility for equality and inclusion sits with the Managing Director.
Given the current size of the organisation, equality considerations are integrated directly into management decision-making rather than managed through a separate HR structure.
As the organisation grows, responsibilities and procedures will evolve accordingly.
3. Fair Recruitment and Career Development
We aim to ensure that:
• Recruitment processes are fair and based on skills, experience, and merit.
• Job descriptions use inclusive language where possible.
• Opportunities for training, development, and leadership are accessible to all team members.
• Decisions on promotion and responsibility are based on capability and contribution.
4. Working Environment
We are committed to maintaining a professional and respectful working environment.
Harassment, discrimination, or unfair treatment of any kind is not acceptable.
Employees and collaborators are encouraged to raise concerns directly with management so that they can be addressed quickly and appropriately.
5. Flexible Working
Where practical and compatible with operational requirements, we support flexible working arrangements.
This includes accommodating personal and family responsibilities and recognising that different working patterns can support both productivity and wellbeing.
6. Monitoring
Given the current size of the organisation, formal statistical monitoring is limited.
However, leadership will periodically review:
• Recruitment outcomes
• Team composition
• Pay fairness
As the company grows, more structured monitoring may be introduced.
7. Training and Awareness
Team members are encouraged to maintain awareness of inclusive working practices and professional behaviour.
Where appropriate, training or guidance on equality and respectful workplace conduct will be provided.
8. Review
This statement will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains appropriate for the size and activities of the organisation.
