Iron Ore Mines
Why it matters:
Iron ore fines are highly prone to segregation, dusting, and handling losses.
MAT potential:
MAT converts ultra-fine iron ore materials into stable agglomerates that are easier to transport, store, and handle. This enables fine mineral streams that would otherwise remain in tailings or waste stockpiles to be reintroduced into appropriate processing or recovery pathways. By stabilising these materials, mining operations can reduce material losses and recover value from fines that would otherwise remain as low-value waste.
